Phone System
September 05, 2005
Olympia School District completed the deployment of a new telephone system in 2001. This system will help to reduce costs, provide safety and security, and help teachers be more productive.
A phone has been installed in every classroom throughout the district. Teachers now have easy access to a phone in an emergency situation or to contact parents. Although teachers have a phone in the classroom, your calls to them will still go through the secretary. Teachers will receive voice mail messages. This is to ensure that class instructional time is not interrupted.
The implementation of a new phone system allows for more phone calls, resulting in fewer busy signals to our callers.
