You may place a toll-free call from your home in any of the Olympia communities.

  • Call the toll-free number (866-OLY-6011) and follow the prompts
  • Call your local school's auto attendant number and follow the prompts

Example: You reside in Atlanta and have a student at the Middle School. Instead of Dialing 309-379-5914 and paying long distance charges, call the auto attendant number for South (217-648-5184) and follow the online prompts.

  • Press 2 for Directory of Schools
  • Press 5 for OMS
  • Wait for your call to be transferred to the OMS greeting.

 

Always report a child's absence to the attendance voice-mailbox.
To report a child's absence using the main school number

  • Dial the school's main number
  • Press 1 to reach the attendance line

To report a child's absence using the auto attendant numbers

  • Dial your local school's Auto Attendant number
  • Press 2 for the Directory of Schools
  • Press the number corresponding to your child's school
  • Press 1 to reach the attendance line

Note:  If you are calling your child's school's auto attendant number all you need to do is press 1.

  To report a child's absence using the toll-free number

  • Dial 1-866-OLY-6001
  • Press the number corresponding to your child's school
  • Press 1 to reach the attendance line

NOTE: All Auto Attendant numbers are listed on the first page of this pamphlet.

Helpful Tips

  • Please contact the Transportation Director Trent Keller with any busing concerns at 309-379-2304.
  • While listening to any voice mail greeting you may press 0 to return to the secretary.
  • You may hear up to three rings before the school phone rings. You will also be transferred to voice mail if no one answers your call after 3 - 6 rings

 

Frequently Asked Questions

I called the main school number but got a recording. What happened?
All calls are routed through a greeting system so calls can be answered more efficiently.

My child has multiple teachers and I want to leave them each a separate message. Do I have to call back multiple times?
No. After recording your first message you may hold the line for more options. Press 1 to send the message then you will be prompted to enter another extension
