Security Entrance System New at OHMS Campus

If you arrive at the doors of Olympia High or Middle School, you will see the new addition of a Security Entrance System. Visitors to the building will press a buzzer which will go directly to the secretary in the main office. The secretary will be able to see the visitor on camera and speak to them to learn their reason for needing to enter the building.
If there is a valid reason for needing to enter the building, the secretary will release the lock and ask the visitor to report directly to the office to sign in.
The new security system provides an additional level of security as we continue to strive for a safe learning environment. We ask for your patience as we begin to use the new Security Entrance System for the 2007-08 school year.
