Students anxiously await Mr. Zimmerman’s presentation of awards.

Danvers’s Lions Club Sponsors Peace Poster Contest

“Peace Around the World” was the theme for this years Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the Danver’s Lions Club.  Mr. Zimmerman, from the Lion’s Club, brought awards to present to the artists of the winning posters.  Each winner received a medal and every fifth grader that entered the contest received a gift certificate for ice cream from Mr. D’s in Danvers.  Twelve awards were presented.  The contest was a great way for students to express their thought about Peace Around the World.  To see all the winning posters click here:  Olympia North Fifth Grade Peace Posters.
