Olympia Board of Education Members Receive Award
Cornbelt Division Leadership

Members of the Olympia Board of Education received recognition and awards for their leadership skills at the October 9, 2007 Cornbelt Division Fall Dinner/Conference held at Woodland C.U.S.D. No. 5 in Streator. The Cornbelt Division Leadership Award is awarded to Board members who have been active in attending various workshops created to help provide Board members with leadership skills that will benefit their individual school districts and guide them as they strive for better learning environments and higher student achievement results.
Olympia's recipients this year were Board President Laura Cremeens, Board Vice-President Sondra Hayes, Board Secretary Steve Matter, and Board member Trena Glenn.
