Red Ribbon Parades

The students of West Elementary traveled to Armington and Hopedale for the annual Red Ribbon parades. Students walked by class behind the student decorated banners made this week during school. The Armington-Minier and Hopedale police departments provided escorts along with the Armington volunteer fire department. As the parade marched through the downtowns of Armington and Hopedale, students chanted their favorite drug free chants.
The rain washed out the afternoon parade scheduled for Minier.
