Geometer's Sketchpad is Amazing

Mrs. Rocke's fifth grade class assisted Mrs. Park's and Ms Gillis's fourth grade classes discover essential pieces of knowledge about Geometer's Sketchpad on February 5th and 6th. They helped by allowing the fourth graders to place points and lines and shapes into the program. That's better than having the fifth graders just show them. Fifth graders instructed them on what to do, but the fourth graders remembered it because they were in control of the muse. The fifth graders could help them understand the program because they commonly use this program in math class.
When the fourth graders learned the basics of Geometer's Sketchpad, it was their turn to draw or create an image. I would bet one million dollars that creating this picture was their favorite part. Sometimes, the fourth graders would want to hide a part of their pictures and their partner would explain, "Okay, just highlight what you want to disappear. Now go up to display and click hide objects. See they disappeared. If you want to find them again go up to display and hit show all hidden and POOF! They come back."
As the fourth graders created pictures, Mrs. Rocke put the saved pictures on the huge screen so everyone could see the wonderful creations. Some were colored in reds and blues, others were shocking pink and neon green. Moving images were spectacular as well.
