OMS Volleyball Wins Lexington Tournament

The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won the Lexington Tournament on Saturday, February 2. Both teams are having successful seasons so far with 2 weeks left before Regionals begin. Olympia will be hosting the 7th grade Regional tournament February 25-28 and the 8th Regional tournament will be played at Normal Chiddix March 4-6.
The 8th grade volleyball team members include Alissa Cross, Taylor Cremeens, Taylor Tammeus, Lindsay Morr, Adriel Schmidgall, Anna Schmidgall, Hillary Denham, Tania VanHoorn, Megan Foley, Kassi Schroeder, Ali Needles, and Claire Dubree. The team managers are Ashley Kauffman and Bailey Moore. The 8th grade coach is Kristina Westerfield.
The 7th grade volleyball team members include Elizabeth Barclay, Janelle Canopy, Brittney Ford, Olivia Hardesty, Rana Hamad, Erica King, Ashley Lang, Lindsey Litwiller, Emma Ross, Brianna Siscoe, Taylor Spencer, Kendall Switzer, Christine Todd, and Morgan Wheeler. The team manager is Samantha Leesman and the coach is Terry Melick.
