Spelling Bee Winners

The annual school Spelling Bee was held on February 13th in the gymnasium. Students were selected to participate in the school Spelling Bee after placing first, second or third place in their classroom Spelling Bee. This year’s participants were: Mr. Dale’s Class – Brian Tackett, Clayton Willis and Alyssa Lang; Mrs. Bohne’s Class – Abbie Jackson (alt. for Collin Schopp), Hannah Hymbaugh and Dallas Spencer; Mrs. Johanson’s Class – Dustin Meredith, Alex Lessen and Hanna Smith; Mr. Figura’s Class – Amy Eichelberger, Brie Birky and Alyson Unsicker.
Congratulations to Brie Birky for her outstanding first place finish and Hannah Hymbaugh for her outstanding second place finish. Both students will move on to the regional Spelling Bee to be held later this month.
