Smart Kids Use a Smart Board
Technology is a Great Tool

They might come to school each day in an old building, but that has not stopped students at Olympia North from using the latest technology as a learning tool. Fifth grade students often use laptops and a Smart Board to develop an understanding of mathematical concepts. The laptops allow students to explore and solve problems using programs such as Geometer's Sketchpad and Tinkerplots. Both of these programs allow students to manipulate data and draw conclusions. The Smart Board is a great way to display the ideas to the entire class. Learning has never been so fun.
