OHS Group Interp Cast Places Third in IHSA Sectionals, Advances to State Tourney

In the IHSA sectional group interpretation contest on Saturday, March 8, Olympia’s entry placed 3rd and will compete this coming weekend at the state finals. Six OHS group interp members were named to the all-sectional cast: Lauren Parmenter, Amy Miller, Rian Wilson, Zach Williams, Mark Koester, and Maggie Camden. The group interp is a 30 minute version of “Alice in Wonderland”
In the IHSA sectional drama contest last weekend, the contest play placed 5th. Three participants were named to the all-sectional cast: Zach Williams, Rian Wilson, and Mark Koester. The play is a 40 minute version of “Glengorry Glen Ross.”
Both contest productions will be performed March 10 and 11in the auditorium for high school classes to attend.
