The Olympia High School Student Council is pleased to announced that Eric Biehl was crowned Mr. Spartan 2008 Friday March 14 at the 11th annual Mr. Spartan pageant. Once again there was a sell-out crowd that packed the OHS auditorium to see the contestants perform their best in the sportswear, talent, formal wear and interview competitions. The crowd was entertained by many great talents including Biehl's interpretive dance, James Boudeman's depiction of a Mario Brothers game, Mitch Birky's audition for The Phantom of the Opera, Chris Dubree's rendition of Chris Farley's "Down by the River" skit, Matt Frahm's performance of "Mini-Me", David Hanck's "Fame" dance, Bryan Henry's performance with the Jazz Band, Ethan Rigler's piano performance, Colt Stroud's performance of Achy Breaky Heart and Aaron Springer's "Thriller" dance. It was a wonderfully entertaining evening for all who attended.
