Safety Patrol is Collecting Cans
April 01, 2008
The Safety Patrol of Olympia West is collecting soda cans as a fundraiser for their spring trip. This trip will be a reward for going out there in all kinds of weather (rain, show, heat, etc.) and doing their job. The students had a bowling trip I the fall, but more funds are needed for the spring trip. The Safety Patrol would like to thank Officer Weseloh and Mrs. Rummel for their help and support. Officer Weseloh comes almost every day and Mrs. Rummel comes out whenever she can. They are both amazing and we thank them so much!
If you would like to drop off some cans, you can go to the Oly West school in Minier. There is a big box in the foyer where we are collecting cans. You do not need to crush the cans. Four Safety Patrol students will stay after every other Friday to crush the cans. Please make sure your cans are in a bag.
For our spring trip we will be going to Six Flags. We have done other fundraisers during the year, but we have not raised enough yet. It would be greatly appreciated if you would help us out and bring your cans to the school.
