SOLO Writing Technology at OMS

As most everyone has noticed, computers are part of our student’s daily life. Their knowledge of how to use and navigate many different computer applications will be a great advantage, in high school and the real world.
In order to prepare students for their future, Team S has been using SOLO. SOLO is a writing tool that helps each student develop their voice, create more elaborate works, and successfully communicate through the written word (on a computer). The students have quickly learned how to utilize SOLO, producing better composed, creative works.
We will continue using SOLO through the end of the year and with out a doubt, they will be beyond ready for English at the high school level.
