Fourth Grade Inventions

Ms. Gilllis’ fourth grade science classes have been studying simple machines. Students have come to realize how often they use levers, inclined planes, and wheel and axles in their daily lives. To conclude this science unit, students became inventors. Each student designed an invention that would make life a little easier. Inventions included “The Bed-O-Maker”, “The Kitten Mitten Feeder”, “The P.A.B.” (Push A Button) and “The Pancake Flipper 3000” just to name a few.
On Tuesday, April 1st, the 4th grades presented their inventions to the 1st – 5th grades at Oly North. Several parents and grandparents also attended.
