On Wednesday April 9 the OHS Student Council sponsored an assembly for the high school students with Olympia grad Jack Bristow. Bristow shared the dangers of cyber predators with the OHS students and the potential dangers that online social networks like MySpace can provide. Bristow served as a juvenile detective with the Pontiac Police Department for several years before becoming a Law Enforcement teacher in Pontiac. Bristow spent time showing the students how easy it is to be a target of a cyber predator and ways that they can protect themselves online.
