by Susan Mullen

April 14, 2008

National Library Week is April 14 - 18, 2008.  To celebrate National Library Week, National Poetry Month, and Earth Day, the OHS Library is asking the question, "What is the Most Precious Thing On Earth?"  Students are asked to answer the question in the form of poetry or photo contest.  The winner of the poetry contest will receive lunch for two at the cafe table in the library, and the winner of the photo contest will receive a Best Buy gift card.

Judges will look for originality, creativity, composition, and how well your picture or photo shows us the Earth Day theme: What is the Most Precious Thing on Earth?  All entries must be turned in by Friday, April 18th to Ms. Mullen @ the OHS Library.  Winners will be announced Monday, April 21st, and prizes will be awarded on Tuesday, April 22nd, Earth Day!  Check out the OHS Library Web Site or come to the library for more information. Join the circle of knowledge @ the OHS Library!
