OWE Blood Drive a Huge Success

Olympia West Elementary hosted a blood drive for the Red Cross on April 24th.  Student Council sponsored this worthy event and the community responded enthusiastically.  Over 58 people signed up to donate, and 48 pints of blood were collected.  The Student Council members and PTO helped check-in donors and serve snacks.  Alpine Village supported the event providing dinner to all the Red Cross workers and a gift certificate for a free hamburger and steak fries to every donor.  Thank you to everyone for their support.  The Red Cross was very complimentary of the great attitude and support of the West community.
