IWCOA Administrator of the Year
Mr. Lootens Receives Award

Mike Lootens, Olympia High School’s Assistant Principal/Activities Director, was nominated and awarded the honor of the Illinois Administrator of the Year award for Class A through the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association. (IWCOA)
Mr. Lootens was presented his award and plaque at the All State Wrestling Banquet on April 27, 2008. A dinner and ceremony was held at Park Place in Countryside, Illinois. Also in attendance was Superintendent Brad Hutchison and Michael Manahan, a former Olympia High School Wrestling Coach.
Mr. Lootens was nominated for the award for his outstanding contributions and the organization of the many activities for both boys and girls in the Olympia High School as well as the Olympia Middle School. He has been a Social Studies teacher and coached various sports.
Olympia School District 16 and the Olympia School Board congratulate Mr. Lootens on this award and his dedication to the students and events of Olympia High School.
