Congratulations 2008 Prom King, Queen and Court!

On behalf of the junior class of Olympia High School, Mrs. Davis would like thank everyone for being a part of prom. We need to thank all of the teachers, parents and friends that have been a part of this event, and special thanks to the Junior Class Officers Payton McVey, Hailey Jones, Mylie Horrer and Michelle Simpson. All of their hard work helped make Prom 2008, Into the Blue, so wonderful.
The prom court included:
Brittney Hendricks from Bloomington. She was escorted by Eric Biehl from Waynesville. Brittney plans to attend the University of Illinois next year, and Eric is planning Wrestle and major in Education at Southern Illinois University.
Heidi Fontaine, from Armington, escorted by Mitch Birky from Danvers. Next year, Heidi plans to pursue nursing at Heartland Community College, and Mitch will be attending the University of Illinois.
Kaylene Freitag from Stanford was escorted by Andy Lindgren from Atlanta. Kaylene wants to enter the medical field through Heartland and ISU, and Andy will also be attending the University of Illinois next year.
Courtney Miller from Waynesville, escorted by Colt Stroud from Armington. Courtney plans to attend Heartland Community College next year, and Colt will be playing baseball at Trevecca Nazarene University.
Katie Peek, of Stanford, escorted by Zach Williams from Danvers. Next year Katie will be playing softball at Illinois Central College, and Zach will continue being himself, pursuing several interests including college.
Abby Stine, from Danvers, daughter of David and DeeDee Stine, carried the queen’s crown, TJ McManaman, also of Danvers, son of Tim and Annie McManaman carried the king’s crown, and Ty Miller, son of Jay and Tara Miller of Atlanta carried the sashes.
The title for Prom 2008 king and queen went to Kaylene Freitag and Zach Williams. Congratulations to everyone.
