On Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Olympia Middle School held a 5th Grade Parent Orientation Night. The primary reason for the evening was to show parents the layout of the 6th Grade wing of OMS and to answer any questions they might have about Middle School in general.
6th Grade Teachers were on hand to show their classrooms to their future students and their parents. In addition to exploring the building, information was also available about:
- Typical 6th Grade Schedule
- Encore (enriched core) classes
- Extra curricular activities and athletics
- Busing
- Lunchroom
- OHMS Booster Club
The event was well-attended, and positive feedback from parents indicated they enjoyed the opportunity to visit with the staff of OMS. Thanks to all parents who attended this event!
