The Olympia FFA Chapter was certainly ready for Ag Day held on Thursday, May 8th. They planned on having over 400 students attend. Some of the lead by FFA students were on tractor safety, chemical safety, ATV safety, PTO safety, soils, dairy, and farm animals.
The FFA chapter showed examples and taught the young kids about each workshop. For example, the dairy workshop showed students how to make ice cream—they also sampled it as well.
The Olympia FFA chapter has been working hard on this event and found it a good successful day!
