Key Club is at it again. They are winding down the school year and ending on a good note. They have ended their last few projects recently and were recognized and given an award from the Salvation Army.
At the last Key Club meeting, a few select people from the Salvation Army attended and presented Key Club with an award for raising the most money and having the most people help with bell ringing over the holiday months.
Key Club just wrapped up their Pennies for Patients donation collecting. They collected a total of $950 for Pennies for Patients. All of that money goes towards the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Their final project for the school year is cleaning up the local Olympia towns. They will be cleaning each town on a different day in order to help keep the towns clean.
New officers have also been elected for next year. President Elizabeth Alberts, Vice President Ivy Craig, Secretary Annie Morrison, Treasurer Kayla Hester and Historian Kelsey Holt.
Key Club is ending the school year on a great foot and will be helping the community and people in need with their services again next year!
