Olympia Senior Named Pantagraph Male Athlete of the Year

The Bloomington Pantagraph this week named Olympia Senior Colt Stroud as the Male Athlete of the Year. Colt, the son of Bob and Tammy Stroud of Armington, graduated in May ranked third in his class with a 4.07 GPA. Colt was named to the first team Corn Belt Conference football team as a defensive lineman and was a captain of this year's team. He was named to the second team All Conference in basketball where he played an integral part in the Spartan hoopsters Elite Eight season. In the spring, Colt played 1st base, pitched and was a designated hitter on the IHSA Class 2A state-champion Olympia baseball team. He was named to the first team Corn Belt Conference for his accomplishments on the diamond.
The Olympia community salutes Colt for his classroom and athletic accomplishments and offer congratulations to him and his family.
