OMS Completes Fall MAP Assessment

by Todd Dugan

October 02, 2008

This week, Olympia Middle School completed the newly implemented "Measures of Academic Progress" tests, or MAP.  Students completed an online adaptive assessment on Math and Reading either in the computer lab or in the south end of the media center.  The MAP tests are maintained by the Northwest Evaluation Association and proctored by OMS teachers.  The tests are designed to find the instructional level of each and every student enrolled at OMS.  More information will be coming home in the weeks to come, after the data has been normed by NWEA and sent to OMS.  For more information about the MAP assessments or NWEA, please click on the link below.
