FFA Elects 2009-2010 Officer Team
On Thursday April 2nd the Olympia FFA Chapter elected their new chapter officers for the 2009-2010 school year. This year's officers have done an outstanding job and the three senior officers will definitely be missed. The three seniors are President Nick Brand, Vice-President Morgan Ott, and Reporter Samantha Yoder. Other retiring officers are Secretary Brett Johnson, Treasurer Wade Springer, Sentinel Kyle Durflinger, and Historian Guy Hainline.
The Olympia FFA Chapter is 74 members strong and growing. The new officer team is looking forward to continuing the expansion of the FFA Chapter and agriculture education program at Olympia.
The 2009-2010 Officer Team will be; President Wade Springer, Vice President Brett Johnson, Reporter Emily Sombeck, Secretary Rob Park, Treasurer Daniel Boudeman, Sentinel Doug Springer, and Historian Adam Kaufman. The Officer Team is led by Advisor Matt Nordstrom. The officer team will be sworn in at the Annual FFA Banquet on Saturday April 18th at Olympia High School.
