Olympia Teachers Receive Recognition
Four Olympia teachers were recently recognized by the Corn Belt Region of the Illinois Principals Association at a Faculty Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, February 11 at Biaggi’s in Bloomington.. The teachers were nominated for this award based on 1) Service to the community 2) Self-Improvement 3) Contribution to the school and 4) Dedication to the school, staff and/or students. Each teacher received a certificate of appreciation, a box of Fannie May candy, and a gift card to Barnes and Nobles. The teachers recognized were Steve Dillon (OMS Math/Science Teacher), Mary Bohne (Olympia West Reading Recovery Teacher), Jayne Kindred (Olympia South Third Grade Teacher), and Chris Embry Mohr (OHS Science Teacher). We are extremely proud of these four exceptional teachers! Congratulations!
