Hopedale Website Redesign Complete
If you haven't visited Hopedale recently, take a trip on the internet and check out www.hopedale.net. The Hopedale website has been redesigned with the help of Olympia Middle School students.
The whole process got started back in 2009 when Jason Smith contacted the Hopedale Betterment Association to volunteer his OMS technology classes for service in updating Hopedale's site. At that time, many of the pages had the message: "under construction/ content coming soon." Over the next few semesters, Mr. Smith had his students used Microsoft FrontPage, Publisher, and HTML (a programming language) to update pages. If you look at the bottom of several pages you can see who designed the page. Now the site has a new layout, all of the pages are functional, the monthly calendars are kept up to date, and there are several new photos.
