OHS Student Publishes Photograph
Congratulations to Olympia Junior, Sam Smedley, for becoming a published photographer! Sam photographed a landmark locomotive, built in 1964, at the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello, IL, and the photograph was published in Railfan & Railroad magazine.
Railfan & Railroad magazine “brings the best of contemporary railroading and a touch of nostalgia, all illustrated with the finest photography,” throughout the United States and Canada When Sam was asked what he likes about photography, he said, “Taking pictures is like capturing history.”
