Board Approves Floor Plan
OMS Classroom
A federally funded grant will provide the revenue for the construction of a new Special Education Classroom at Olympia Middle School. The classroom addition is expected to cost approximately $305,000 upon completion. Funding for the classroom is provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA stimulus money) from the federal government for special education construction purposes.
At the May 10th Board meeting, the Olympia School Board approved the proposed floor plan for the classroom. Construction is expected to begin after Labor Day.
