First Day of School
Welcome Back West
The gym was crowded Thursday morning as students and parents crowded into the school gym. Returning students sat with their new classmates, while holding backpacks full of supplies.
Kindergarten students and parents sat together in the bleachers for the opening pledge and morning announcements. After a brief greeting, the new students and their families were dismissed to the kindergarten rooms to begin a "Bear Hunt." Following the hunt, kindergarten students enjoyed some time in the Learning Center with Mrs. Lang, while parents participated in kindergarten orientation.
Welcome back students and parents. It is going to be another great year at Oly West!
