Every Grade Level Tested Met or Exceeded State Standards

The state sponsored 2005-06 School Report Card was recently released and revealed that student achievement at Olympia continues to improve.  All grade levels that were tested met or exceeded standards and exceeded the state average score in all subjects.  Our students, parents, faculty, and staff are to be commended for the continual performance improvements that are occurring throughout the Olympia School District.

We are also pleased to announce that each school and the district acquired the No Child Left Behind federal requirement of Adequate Yearly Progress according the 2005-06 State Report Card.  Each school that has at least 45 students in a specific sub group must demonstrate Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).

The 2005-06 Report Card also revealed that the district attendance and graduation rates exceeded the state average.   The district drop-out rate was better than the state average.
