Annual Meeting
Olympia School District Administrators met with area Police Officers and Fire/Rescue Personnel at the Unit Office on September 1, 2011. Also in attendance was Greg Scott, McLean County Area EMS System Coordinator. After introductions by Superintendent Brad Hutchison, the focus centered on discussions of procedures, safety needs, and a review of emergency responses during the 10-11 school year at the OHMS campus. New Olympia School Resource Officer Jeremy Bradley was introduced to the group and reports that the transition to Olympia has been an easy one and students are responding to the new SRO.
Superintendent Brad Hutchison stated the importance and benefits of the meeting to be held annually. Business & Operations Manager Dr. Andrew Wise, Principal Lance Thurman, Asst Principal Matt Hurley and Principal Andy Walsh expressed appreciation to those in attendance for all the efforts made to keep Olympia High/Middle School a safe environment.
