“Return with us to those thrilling days of yesteryear . . .” when radio was king and television
but a dream. This western cliffhanger is fully visualized on stage, however, as we find ourselves on the edge of our seats as the Masked Avenger (Tanner Springer) and the Masked Desperado (Jared Wade), twins separated as infants, try to clean up the town of Armadillo. With their trusty sidekicks, Howdy (CJ Tackett) and Pardner (Rebekah Bauersfeld)--twins also separated as infants-- our heroes try to stop the evil machinations of the Baroness (Gabriele Meissner).  Throw in a dishonest Sheriff (Jared Nicholas), the local schoolmarm (Naomi Springer), and the owner of the local saloon (Sydney Donovan), and our heroes almost bite off more than they can chew.

Loosely based upon Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors, this fast-paced comedy western isrootin’ tootin’ fun for the whole family.

The Olympia production is directed by Wendy Wade, assisted by Liz Wittrig, with costuming by Terri James and Heather Schwarting.  Tech is handled by Ron Wade, David James, Sara Shifflet, and Gracie Weinzierl.

For more information, contact Denise Ludwig at Olympia Middle School at (309) 379-5941, ext. 8327.
