OSE's Closing Ceremonies
The students at Olympia South have been following the Olympics closely. Each grade level was assigned a country to follow. Hallway posters displayed the medal counts for all the countries involved. Students could earn additional medals based on their behavior and exhibition of positive character traits. The top four countries were able to compete in a relay race at our Closing Ceremonies assembly on Friday, February 26th.
Time trials were conducted during PE to identify the four students from each grade level that would represent their class in the competition on Friday. The fifth grade won the entire competition and will be rewarded with a pizza party at the conclusion of ISAT's.
