OMS Scholastic Book Fair
OMS library will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair next week. The fair will be open to the public from 3:30 to 8pm on both March 16th and March 17th. Students will also have an opportunity to shop during the school day. In conjunction with the book fair the library will be running a fund raiser sponsored by Scholastic Books called One for Books. All money raised will be used by the library to buy books from the fair to use as prizes and reading incentives AND Scholastic Books will match the dollar amount raised and donate books to nonprofit organizations that serve low income families. Mrs. Holmes, OMS’ librarian, has agreed to dye her hair green for St. Patrick’s Day if the students and staff donate more than $100. Please donate your spare change and then stop by on St. Patrick’s Day to see if Mrs. Holmes has gone green.
