Olympia High School Announcements – Mar. 15  

• Olympia High School Student Council will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 31.  You must be at least 16 years old to donate and there are additional height and weight requirements that must be met.  Please pick up the information sheet and permission slip in the main office.  All students who are interested in giving blood should stop in the office to sign up for a donation time.  Students must sign up by 3:30 on Tuesday, March 30th.  Sign ups will not be taken after this time!  On the day of the blood drive all donors must have their photo ID or their Donor card.

• All juniors interested in applying for National Honor Society need to pick up an application from Mrs. Schmidgall in the main office.   Deadline for application is Tuesday, March 30.

• Junior or senior boys interested in a discount, or possibly a free tux rental from Jimmies Formal Wear, please see Mrs. Davis in A22 today for more information.  They are looking for five models to help with their Prom 2010 promotion.  *Please be aware that the date for this years Prom 2010 “Magic Masquerade” is Saturday, April 24^th at the Lafayette Club in Bloomington.

• The OHS Boys’ Basketball and Basketball Cheer Banquet is tonight at 6:15 p.m. in the OHS Cafeteria.  Flyers are available in the main office.  Freshmen boys’ need to bring their basketball uniforms with them to the banquet to turn in.

• All Key Club members need to bring in a bag of small fun-sized candy to Mrs. Smith’s room by April 1^st.  The candy will be used in the Minier Easter Egg Hunt so make sure the candy is small enough to fit into Easter eggs.

• Attention all drivers:  No excuses…Mr. Spartan is over and the OTSD committee is gearing up to give away three great prizes.  Don’t be left out.  Bring in $12, sign a safe driving pledge, get an Arrive Alive t-shirt and receive a chance to win one of three great prizes.  If you are planning on going to the prom, you could possibly win prom tickets before they go on sale.  The first 50 people to buy a t-shirt receive an Olympia lanyard.  Supplies are limited so don’t miss out.  The prize drawing will take place Thursday, March 18^th and remember to “Arrive Alive!"
