Olympia Students Receive Recognition
The Corn Belt Region of the Illinois Principals Association sponsored its annual Student Recognition Luncheon for its Western Division on Tuesday, March 16. The luncheon took place at Baby Bull’s Fine Dining Restaurant in Pontiac, IL. Each member school or district is asked to select two students to attend the luncheon.
The criteria for selection are as follows:
* Students must be members of the highest grade-level present
* Students should display accomplishment that is commendable in:
a. service to the community
b. self-improvement
c. contribution to the school
d. dedication to the school, staff, and/or fellow students
It our pleasure to announce that the following students were selected by their respective grade level teachers to be Olympia's honorees to attend this year’s Illinois Principals Students Recognition Luncheon: Ashley Miller & Jazmin Reich (Olympia South), Jacob Neville & Madison Wille (Olympia West), Daniel Melick & Lucas Salvator (Olympia North), and Claire Doty & Fraley Downey (Olympia Middle School).
