- Student Bank Board applications are due today.
- Hey Key Clubbers! Today will be the first Key Club Meeting of the year. Please plan to attend! There will be cookies and Kool-aid! The meeting will be in room A9, Mrs. Smith’s room, during Jr/Sr advisory. Remember, Key Club is FUN and looks great on a college application. See you there!!
- There will be a meeting for all National Honor Society members on Friday, Sept. 10 at 11:50 in the auditorium.
- It is finally here! The most highly anticipated event of the new school year. That’s right! The girl’s swim team is opening up their season with an 11 a.m. home meet Saturday, Sept. 4 vs. Urbana University High School at the Olympia Aquatic Center. As always, timers and volunteers are appreciated and needed to run the meet. All boys’ swimmers from last season, please see Coach Hewitt before the end of the school day Friday.
- Any sophomore that is interested in becoming part of the sophomore class committee, please see your advisor of Ms. Kirby for an application today. They are due back to Ms. Kirby by next Friday. We need your help for fundraising and Homecoming activities this year…thanks!
- Student Council is collecting money for the Homecoming Fireworks. You can donate money during both lunches in the Commons and at the Football Concession stand.
- Students: Please remember the locker rooms are off limits during lunch.
- Kelsey Hagerman – Please come to the Guidance Office after announcements.
- If you’ve made a difference through volunteering over the past year, you could win $1000 and a fabulous trip to Washington, D.C. next May by applying for a Prudential Spirit of Community Award! Visit spirit.prudential.com to apply.
- Juniors and seniors: The Greater McLean County College Fair is Tuesday, October 5 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the ISU Bone Student Center. There will be a Financial Aid information session at 5:30. Over 90 college and university representatives will be available to answer questions from students and parents.
