WELCOME BACK TO OLYMPIA FOR THE 2012 Spring Semester! NOTE TO PARENTS: Please review the Keys to Success, that was explained to each child, and be aware of the classroom supplies that will be needed in class each day. Children should have a pencil, pen, dry erase markers, calculator, notebook, and paper along with their textbook, every day. Students should also be keeping up with daily work and asking questions when needed. I am looking forward to a great school year with your child! We are also in need of a classroom supply of tissues. Please donate one box for your child to use this semester.
Important Dates to Remember Spring Parent Teacher Conferences: February 14 and 15th: Call the school for an appointment to meet with all of your child's teachers
Late start dates for 2011-2012: January 25th February 22nd March 21st
Feb 8 1/2 day Feb 17 No school March 26-30 Spring break April 6 No school April 24, 25 PSAE Testing May 16 Final Exams
Progress grades will be posted mid-quarter
Juniors and parents: please remember that if you or your child worked in the concession stand during home football games they have earned a discounted ticket to Prom this spring . Extra Credit available in each chapter by completing the crossword, or practice quiz or test at ClassZone.com (or textbook link below)

I was just checking out your students' Silly Syllogisms. I stole your idea from your website last year and used it with my own geometers. It was great fun and it really helped my students understand the essence of how thoughts must chain together as we wrote our proofs. Thanks for the GREAT idea! |
