Boys Basketball is away at Monticello

Saturday night is PACK THE PLACE! Come out to support the Boys Basketball team vs. Clinton, JV will start at 5pm and Varsity at 6:30pm. Olympia FFA will also be hosting their Pork Chop Dinner and Silent Auction. Along with the 2019 Olympia Hall of Fame will be introduced at half time of the Varsity game.

Today’s Announcements:

  • Are you a senior attending ISU, Illinois Wesleyan, or Heartland in the Fall? Are you planning to go into a STEM field? If so, you may be eligible for the NexSTEM Scholarship worth up to $40,000. See Mrs. Steve or check Naviance for details.
  • Boy’s track and field will start everyday practice on next Tuesday, February 19th. All boys that plan to be on the team should plan to be at practice, unless you are in a school activity that is still competing. We will meet in Mr. Stine’s room- A25 right after school. Talk to Mr. Stine if you have any questions.
  • Attention Sophomores and Juniors: There will be time in next Wednesday's Pathway day for you to apply to Heartland's College NOW program to be eligible for dual credit classes. We want students to apply whether or not they plan to take courses next year as there is always a chance you could have a conflict in your schedule. In order to apply, you need your social security number. Please come prepared with your social security number if you do not have it memorized.
  • Attention PIR cast members: if you have any clothing or props in Mrs. Meissner's room, please stop by and pick it up
  • STEM club will be meeting today during second lunch. We will be discussing the contest for ICTM on February 23rd. If you cannot attend please see Mrs. Bowers or Mrs. Benjamin for a permission slip.
  • The Olympia FFA Officer team and 100 FFA members invite you to join our FFA week celebrations next Tuesday through Friday! Dress up days are: Tuesday: Farmer Flannels; Wednesday: Red, CASE International or Green, John Deere Day; Thursday: Hillbilly Hat day; Friday: Blue and Gold!
