The OMS Softball team spent a portion of their Sunday giving back at Helping Hands Community Center in Stanford! From cleaning and organizing to pulling weeds, our girls worked hard to support an organization that serves so many in our community.

The Boys Golf Team battled yesterday at Country Hills Golf Course in the Bulldog Invite hosted by Greenview. The team got 8th out of 15 schools with a score of 365. Ethan Barnes shot an 81, Mason Kruger a 92, Noah Walker a 96, Dylan Nowaskie a 96, Gage Pitcher 103, and Cooper Otto a 115. The boys have a busy week next week playing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Go Spartans!
Middle school varsity baseball split a DH at Washington today. Spartans lost the first game 15-2 then bounced back to win game two 11-9. Spartans will host Morton Monday at 4:30.
Today's Events
Tonight is fall Spartan Night at Olympia High School. We will be introducing our fall activities participants at 5:30pm at the football field. Parent meetings will be conducted for those activities that still need to have theirs. After that, cross country will have a mile "fun run". Volleyball will have an inter squad scrimmage in the high school gym. Football will have a week zero scrimmage vs. PBL High School, starting at approximately 6:30pm. Hope to see everyone tonight at Olympia High School.
Middle school varsity baseball lost to a very tough Williamsville squad tonight 15-2. Varsity is at Washington for a DH Saturday at 10:00. JV will be at home for a DH also against Washington.

The Boys Golf Team hosted their Annual Spartan Scramble yesterday at North Greens Golf Course. The team of Ethan Barnes, Dylan Nowaskie, Camden Fosdick, and Noah Walker were competitive with the field shooting -6. The Boys are back in action in Lincoln on Thursday. Go Spartans!
The Lady Spartan golfers were back in action last night in Petersburg for a match with PORTA, Williamsville, Auburn, and Greenview. The Spartans were led last night by junior Kennadie Finchum carding a 49 in the 9 hole match. The girls are back on the course Thursday at Shambolee Golf Course.
Middle school Varsity baseball falls at Chatham tonight 10-2. JV gets a huge 6-4 win! Varsity is at Parkside tomorrow, JV is home against Parkside. 4:30 start time for both games.
Spartan Night will be at 5:30 on Friday August 22nd at the football field.

Olympia Cheer and Dance had a blast at the Sangamo Show-off in Williamsville this weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!
OMS Softball kept the momentum rolling today with two wins over Monticello! The 7th grade team improves to 3-2, while 8th grade moves to 4-1 on the season. Next up: a road matchup at Parkside on Monday at 4:30.

Last night we kicked off our volleyball season with a trip to Bradley for their Red & White Scrimmage! Earlier this summer, Bradley came out to the high school to host camp with our teams, and it was great to connect again—this time for some fun team bonding in the stands. We’re excited for everything this season holds!
The Olympia girls golf season is officially in full swing. The Lady Spartans battled through the heat today to compete in the Williamsville Bullet Invite. Senior Anna Johnson led the way shooting a 102. The Spartans are back in action Monday for the Lincoln Scramble.
The middle school softball game scheduled for today Aug. 15th at Heyworth has been cancelled. No practice.
