SPARTANS WIN, SPARTANS WIN!!!! Lady Varsity Soccer down the 4 seed Peoria Christian 2-1 (3-1 in Penalty Kicks) to win the first ever regional game! Sophomore Elyse Eimer started the scoring to put the Spartans up 1-0 in the 45th minute. Peoria Christian answered in the 80th minute to knot it at 1-1. The girls were scoreless after 2 overtime's, forcing Penalties. Seniors Paytn Talbert, Raquel Birky, and Grace Birkey all 3 converted on their PK's. Senior Sophia Thomas was absolutely brilliant stopping 2 of the 4 she faced. Girls advance to the regional title game at 6pm Tuesday night at IVC.
Varsity baseball falls to 3A #25 ranked Limestone 17-7 today. Sloan(3H), Dabney and Walker 2 hits apiece, Hohulin, Birky, Gellner, Royal with a hit apiece. Wilson(4.2IP, 5 K's), Springer(1.2IP, 2K's), Birky(0ER). Spartans play Central Catholic Monday at 4:30 to begin regionals.

The Olympia Girls Track Team showed up at the IHSA 2A Sectionals in Pontiac last night—and what a night it was!
The track was on fire as our athletes racked up personal records and punched their tickets to STATE!
Our 4x100 relay team even broke the school record with an incredible time of 49.46!
