Good afternoon - this is Olympia Superintendent Laura O’Donnell.
Due to the forecasted extreme cold temperature and wind chills, Olympia will be having an e-Learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 16th. We are not comfortable with kids standing at bus stops and / or walking to school in these extreme temperatures. Elementary students should work on their snow packets that have already been sent - elementary teachers will be accessible via email tomorrow to answer any questions parents may have. Middle and high school students will be participating in e-learning activities - principals will follow up with schedules and more detailed information.
As of right now, practices and extra curricular activities planned after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, will happen as scheduled.
