Today in Library we read, “The Little Owl and the Big Tree” by Jonah Winter. Students were surprised to find out this picture book is based on the true story of a little owl that was found in the Rockefeller Christmas tree in 2020. Students then watched the original news segment about the owl and the tree and enjoyed seeing photos of the owl, which was aptly named, Rockefeller.
