The eighth graders who are in Advanced English were working hard on their Romeo and Juliet summative assessments today. They had to utilize their note-taking and summarization skills in order to put 24 key events in chronological order from the famous Shakespeare play. They all did a great job and are proving that they are ready for their high school classes in the fall. The discussions that were taking place during this assessment were full of upper-level critical thinking falling under Debono's Blue Hat.
