The deadline for the yearbook cover contest is quickly approaching! Please make sure your entry is turned in no later than Tuesday, November 3.
Entries will be blindly judged by faculty and staff, and the winner will be announced on Friday, November 6.

Olympia North will be hosting our Fall Book Fair next week, October 13-15th.
Students will be able to shop the book fair Tuesday & Wednesday during their library time (There is no school Monday, October 12th for Columbus day so Monday classes will have adjusted library times on Tuesday & Wednesday).
The Book Fair will also be open for family shopping during Parent Teacher conferences, October 14th & 15th from 3-6:30pm.

Olympia North Pre-K will be hosting an event on Friday, August 14th from 10-11am. 'Popsicles for PreK' is a great opportunity for pre-K families to visit the classroom to learn more information about the pre-K class before their child's first day. Parents will participate in a PowerPoint presentation with Ms. S in the classroom, and pre-K students will get to play on the playground with peers and enjoy a popsicle with Mrs. Amber while the presentation is going on. Olympia North is excited to introduce our new principal, Mrs. Julie Frank!
Mrs. Frank has dedicated her career to elementary education, serving as an elementary classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota Moorhead, a Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Catherine University, and a Master of Arts in Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota.
Mrs. Frank is the proud mother of two adult children and recently relocated from the North Dakota/Minnesota area to Illinois to be closer to her two grandchildren. She is excited for the opportunity to learn, discover, and build meaningful connections within the Olympia North community.
Mrs. Frank is thrilled to join the Olympia North family and is committed to supporting students, staff, and families while fostering a positive learning environment where every child can grow and succeed.
