Today was Fun Friday in Pre-K. Instead of doing Art, we played some color sorting games, used Bingo dotters to find our letter of the week, Ii, made pictures out of shapes, and practiced our puzzle skills.

Mrs. Swartzendruber’s RTI group read picture books focusing on the Midwest Region. They picked their favorite book and are working on a digital book talk to present to the class next week.

Pre-K also enjoyed pajama day, a pizza party for filling their good behavior jar, and rides on the Polar Express train.

Pre-K worked harder than usual to show their kindness to their friends or teachers to model for the Grinch. They helped others zip up their coats, held doors open for teachers without being asked, helped friends put toys away, and more. I would say the Grinch was FILLED with kindness and his heart grew more than two sizes!

Pre-K enjoyed their Christmas party on Tuesday. Big thank you to all the parents who came out to see them sing and participate in games with them. Also, an even bigger thank you to the room parents and parents who spent their time planning the party.
