This December, NHS has been supporting several local charities with fundraising and service hours. Members sponsored and shopped for 13 students through the Olympia District Angel Tree, using funds raised from the NHS Halloween Fest in October and donations to Angel Tree. The members also ran a Toys for Tots drive, raising funds at girls and boys basketball games. Over $300 worth of toys were purchased and donated to the local Toys for Tots chapter. This week, NHS members have been creating tie blankets and braided dog toys for the Logan County Humane Society. Students also donated bags of pet food and paper towel cases to the Humane Society.
