The freshman Lady Spartans battled today in the first annual Spartans vb tournament. The team fought hard but came up short. The Lady Spartans played in the consolation bracket after pool play. The team had great efforts all day. A big thanks to all those who helped make it a success! Congratulations to Sophia Ortiz for making the All Tournament team.
The Lady Spartans got a solid win sweeping Clinton at all 3 levels. Varsity won 25-22&25-11.Jv 25-17,20-25,15-9, Freshman 25-17&25-14.Aubrey Rycyzyn led the way w/9 Kills, 10 digs, 3 aces. Grace Carter had 24 assists, and Seda Pierce had 3 blocks!

The lady Spartans fought hard in their home opener tonight vs DeeMack. Losing in two 25-14 & 25-21. JV won and Freshman won. Way to go! Next match vs Tremont Thursday at Tremont starting with the freshman at 5:00.
Due to the heat, all outdoor games and contest scheduled for today Aug. 27th have been cancelled. High School volleyball will still have their home opener tonight vs. Dee-Mack. Soccer, Girls Swim and Marching band will practice inside. All other practices are cancelled.
